If you still fancy a good old retro alarm clock you’ll like this cool product by Thanko Japan. This gadget looks just like a real retro alarm clock, but it has MP3 support and a USB plug that allows you to customize its alarm sound. You just need to connect the USB cable to your PC and upload a short MP3 music file to the clock that you want to be played back when it is time for the alarm to sound. The software is pretty simple and easy, and the only downside is that there is no snooze button, but that’s now such a big problem anyway. That is because you have to flip a switch on the back of the clock in order to stop the alarm and in order to do this you’ll have to be pretty much awake, but the best part that you’ll wake you to the sound you choose. The MP3 clock is also a great gift idea for everyone.

This stylish 8-bit Tie looks just like what Mario wore to his high-school graduation. The Tie has pixelated design and jaggy edges that complete the 8-bit look. It features a clip-on design that makes it very easy wear with any type of clothing, so even a t-shirts will do. So by wearing the 8-bit tie you’ll be the envy of the office or, at least, you’ll get tons of attention. You’ll be just like Mario when he wore a tie to meetings when negotiating his contact with Nintendo, if he ever had to. Sure the Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 are out there with all their super technology, but sometimes it’s nice to remember the beginnings of the video game revolution. Viva la 8-bit!

The Cool Retro-style 8-bit Tie will cost you $19.99.

Just because we’re so ludicrously smart and ahead of our own evolution by inventing things like Skype calls over the internet, doesn’t mean that we all have to sport microscopic handsets that are impractical and easy to swallow by mistake, or annoying headsets! BoysStuff introduces back to basics with the good old retro style telephone handset that plugs directly into your computer for VoIP calls from the Internet! Just plug the 3.5mm jack into the audio out or Microphone in plug on your laptop or notebook and you’re all set to make a very funky phone call. It might look overly ridiculous plugged into your sleek computer, but that’s what we like about it! Yeh baby!

The price of the Retro Skype Phone is ?’??34.95 (or about $65).
