Star Wars Phone Flashers

Just like the MoPods phone charms, these clever little things flash and spin the moment a call or text message comes in. The difference is, these transparent domes come all the way from the Star Wars universe and contain Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper helmet. You just need to attach a Darth Vader or a Stormtrooper phone flasher to your mobile phone and the head in the device will start rotating and flashing when it detects an incoming call or a text message. To make that work the device just picks up the strong radio field that is being generated around your mobile phone, meaning that the device is going to receive a call any moment now. It is rather simple thing, but it really does a good job and it is quite cheap so you can easily get a few spare ones just in case or for presents to your friends that are also big fans of the Star Wars saga…

It goes without saying that Star Wars Phone Flashers really come in handy when you’re drinking with friends in a noisy environment or partying in a night club, but they also make brilliant desktop/work companions, especially if your phone is in silent mode. When they start to rotate and flash you will notice them even if your attention is focused on something else, or at leas someone else will see that something is happening and will ask you what is going on with that Star Wars thing.

Currently there is a promotion going on in the online shop that is selling the phone flashers, so that you can get your own personal promo code for about $8 off of any product. This way a single phone flasher will cost you absolutely nothing and you’ll have to pay only for the shipping. You can generate your own discount code on this page: Special Firebox voucher offer. The promo code will be valid until the end of this year (31st December) so you can even use it later on and not only for purchasing a phone flasher, but for just about anything available in the shop.

The Star Wars themed phone flashers are available for $8 each.

Lately there was a lot of talk about mobile phones working with two SIM cards at the same time. And a lot of small Asian GSM manufacturers are offering quite cheap dual SIM mobile phones that do work quite good. And now it seems that bigger companies like Samsung are also turning to address the need of the users in using two different SIM cards at the same time, without having to wear to mobile phones with them everywhere they go. Samsung DuoS D880 Dual SIM Card Phone is a stylish slider that will offer the needed functionality, but it may be a bit too expensive for the people that are usually using more than one mobile phone. Apart from being able to work simultaneously with two SIM cards there is nothing else new or some other notable feature in the DuoS D880.

Fonies Screen Cleaning Phone Charms

Does your mobile phone look ever so slightly dull? If the answer is yes, you could do with a few Fonies. These impossibly cute critters are set to take the world of mobile phone danglies (of course there’s one) by storm, because as well as being totally adorable they double up as screen cleaners. And while your beloved new companion may not appreciate being wiped all over a grubby screen, but after all your mobile’s screen is no longer an underused luxury; it’s an essential window to the wonders within, used for photography, picture messaging, gaming and more.

Screen cleaning aside, Fonies are a great way of personalizing your phone. And with several different characters to collect you can use them to change the appearance of your mobile to suit your every mood.

And while Fonies don’t light up, spin, dance, play tunes or even vibrate, but there’s something rather reassuring about dangling a squishy thingy from your phone. Maybe it’s their sheer simplicity that makes them so unfathomably desirable.

The Fonies will cost you about $8 each and there are quite a few different models.

MoPods Cell Phone Straps

We’ve seen some weird and wonderful mobile phone accessories in our time but MoPods really take the biscuit. Why? Well for starters these funky little wearable characters live in transparent domes. But more importantly, they spin and flash when your mobile receives a call or text.

Yes, we know it sounds a bit silly but MoPods aren’t half as daft as those Bluetooth headsets favoured by middle-management morons. And if you hate missing calls, MoPods are infinitely more imaginative than a deafening ‘I’m wacky, I am!’ comedy ringtone. (And that includes the 24 CTU one, the theme from Grange Hill and the music from Austin Powers. Yawn).

The idea is to wear your MoPod as a kind of charm-cum-collectable on bags, belts, clothing, keyrings, or even mobiles. With several characters to choose from including a penguin, kitten, monster and devil, MoPods are destined to become must-have mobile accessories amongst fashion-conscious phone fans everywhere. In fact our good friends in Japan (always first with the coolest peripherals) have already gone completely MoPod mental.

It goes without saying that MoPods come in handy if you’re in a noisy pub or sitting on a clattering train, but they also make brilliant desktop/work companions – especially if your phone is in silent mode. Having said that we can’t be held responsible for the consequences of wearing a flashing, spinning penguin in a board meeting.

More than anything, MoPods are impossibly cute companions that are also extremely practical – and you can’t say that about your average collectible thingamabob.

The price of a any single MoPod is about $9.30.
