What would you say for some cool sunglasses with a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera in them, that is hidden. Ok, maybe not exactly hidden, but the normal person wouldn’t think you’ve got a camera in your sunglasses (unless he’s seen these). The camera on one of the sides in the glasses is capable of capturing still images with a resolution of 1280×1024 pixels. The sunglasses also come with a handy RF remote-control that is needed to tell the camera when to take a picture, so it won’t be on all the time…

These cool glasses come with high-quality and lightweight frame material and with UV400 polarized flip-up lens. The built-in polymer li-ion rechargeable battery provides you with a battery life of up to 9 hours if you are shooting 1 picture every minute. When you are done with the covert photo taking you can transfer the images to the PC with the help of the USB 2.0 interface trough a standard mini USB port (also used for recharging). As an additional feature the sunglasses also allow you to enjoy your favorite MP3 songs with the help of flexible earbuds, that you can easily remove off your ears when aren’t needed.

1.3 Megapixel Spy Camera Sunglasses are priced at $99.99

PENTAX Imaging Company announced today the PENTAX K10D digital SLR camera with 10.2 effective megapixels and a host of advanced technologies including a PENTAX-developed Shake Reduction (SR) system and a weather- resistant body. Designed to deliver high-quality digital images and responsive operation for advanced photo enthusiasts, the K10D features an array of PENTAX innovations in image capture and camera functionality.

The most significant features in the K10D include:

- A PENTAX-developed Shake Reduction (SR) system that effectively offers a 2.5 to 4 stop advantage for sharp, blur-free images even under difficult shooting conditions, such as macro and telephoto photography or low light settings without a flash. The SR mechanism is designed to minimize camera shake by oscillating the CCD image sensor vertically and horizontally at high speed using magnetic force, while adjusting the speed of oscillation in proportion to the amount of camera shake detected by built-in sensors. As a result, the system does not require special anti-shake lenses and can be used with more than 24 million PENTAX lenses produced since 1964.

- A newly-developed Pentax Real IMage Engine (PRIME) designed exclusively for PENTAX digital SLR cameras to produce well-balanced, true-to-life images. In order to meet the performance requirement in handling 10 megapixel data, PENTAX also incorporated a new high performance 22 bit A/D converter to quickly transfer images with accurate color tones and richer gradation from the CCD to the imaging engine.

- A new Dust Removal (DR) system incorporating PENTAX-original Special Protect (SP) coating to help keep the CCD surface dust-free, and a shift mechanism to shake dust off the CCD.

- A dependable dust-proof, weather-resistant body construction featuring 72 seals throughout the camera to allow photographers to continue shooting even in dusty or rainy environments.

The K10D body will ship by November 2006 for US $899.95, and as a kit with the DA 18-55mm lens for US $999.95. The D-BG2 Battery Grip will ship at the same time for less than US $190.00. The PENTAX DA 70mm lens will ship in October 2006 for less than US $600.00.

You hear some suspicious noise in the middle of the night while working in front of your PC and what do you do? Just turn on your Spy Video Car, adjust the camera angle, turn on the night vision, put on the Heads Up Display (HUD) visor, and drive your way to the suspicious noise. That’s right – this quiet R/C car has a video camera mounted on the front. It broadcasts to the black and white LCD HUD which plugs into the remote. You’ll see everything your Spy Car sees (in bright light or in total darkness). And since it rides really low to the ground, you’ll be able to go under tables, chair, pets, and anything else that gets in your way…

Solio, the Universal “Hybrid” Charger is powerful enough to charge all of your handheld electronic products at home or on the move, anywhere under the sun. It works by absorbing power from either the wall socket or our very own Sun storing this energy within the Solio’s own internal battery.

Solio is the universal charger of the future because it can use free energy from the sun which is good for the environment while saving you money on electricity costs.

SatuGO: See Aim Throw captUre & GO. Imagine combining your love for bouncing balls and your obsession with taking pictures into one, now it has a name SatuGO. Simply throw SatuGO into the motive to catch the moment, where it hits you get a picture, or take air photos by activating the timer before throwing the SatuGO. Other than being a camera SatuGO can act as a mobile storage facility for your personal data and function as a webcam.

What is SatuGO?
SatuGO is a combination of a bouncing ball and a camera with the purpose to make it more fun to take pictures. Throw the SatuGO camera and it takes a picture where it hits a surface, or set the timer and take pictures from far up in the air. Besides this SatuGO also has secondary functions such as webcam and mobile data storage. SatuGO is about the size of a normal tennis ball but where the tennis ball has air SatuGO has a 3 mega pixel camera.

Why should I have a SatuGO?
SatuGO is a fun alternative to the ordinary camera. The wish is to make the photographer an active part of the picture by throwing the camera into the motive. SatuGO is not intended to take “pretty” pictures, this is also why it doesn’t have a screen, you have to get to a computer to see what you have captured.

How does it work?
You can take pictures with SatuGO by simply throwing it, when it hits a surface it takes a picture. SatuGO also has a built in timer and flash. To activate either the flash or the timer, SatuGO has to be placed in the holder, now the user has to beat a specific rhythm on either the red or the black rubber part of the ball.
If the user chooses the timer he can punch seconds into it, the time chosen will be the interval for how often the camera will take a picture. When the camera is taken out of the holder the time starts.

To see the motives that have been captured, the SatuGO needs to be connected to a computer using the belt clip. The belt clip also works as a USB connector. SatuGOs internal battery is charged while pictures and data are transferred to the computer.

Where can SatuGO be used?
SatuGO can be used almost anywhere. It is very rugged and can handle bumps, hits and naturally also water. SatuGO is primarily thought as a fun alternative to normal cameras, with endless possibilities, e.g. if you are skiing, running, out diving, partying or if you just want to be at home and use SatuGO as your webcam.

Who buys a SatuGO?
The typical SatuGO user is a person that sees possibilities in everything he sees – a person that just has to capture the world from new and crazy perspectives. The typical SatuGO user is a person that is not afraid to confront the world and see it from totally different and crazy perspectives; this could be everyone, from the skater on the street to the businessman, who really just is a big boy.

When can I buy my SatuGO?
SatuGO is still only a concept product! Often it is very hard to get out with a totally new concept, because producers and investors run a big risk by investing in new ideas. We have tried to accommodate this by making a website with the purpose to gather the SatuGO customers already before SatuGO is set into production. The website works as a kind of public subscription with the purpose to make the commercial market possibilities visible to potential investors. Interested users can register on the website to be one of the first to be offered a SatuGO without being required to buy one, at the same time investors can see how many that are interested in buying a SatuGO camera.

The price of the satuGO camera should be about $69, but it is not yet available.

The Sanyo VPC-CA6 Xacti Digital Media Camera records both 6 megapixel still images and 640×480 resolution digital video in a weather resistant compact design. It combines the functionality of a digital camera and a digital camcorder. Different than a standard digital camera that shoots short video clips, the VPC-CA6 combines the functionality of both a digital camera and a digital camcorder in one small, lightweight camera. Splash-proof water resistance makes it practical to point and shoot even around the pool or at the beach. It’s also rugged enough to safely take photos or shoot video with wet hands while fishing, hiking, boating, skiing or enjoying many other outdoor leisure activities. While remarkably water resistant, the CA6 should never be immersed in water.

This powerful little device easily records both 640×480 resolution video and 6-megapixel digital still images, all of which are handily stored to a standard SD flash memory card (sold separately). Designed to meet the international protection level IPX4, the VPC-CA6 is ???‚??protected???‚?? from splash in all directions.

2″LED Screen
The CA6 features an incredibly clear 2-inch, Sanyo-developed Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) with 210,000 total pixels. The display flips out from the camera and rotates up to 285 degrees on an axis that allows you to take great video or still images from otherwise-difficult-to-view positions.

6.37 megapixel CCD image sensor
Inside the CA6 digital media camera is an advanced 6.37-megapixel (total) CCD image sensor to capture high-quality digital videos (at a very smooth and natural 30 fps!), with full-range stereo sound.

Capture still and High-Definition Movie Images Simultaneously
The Xacti CA6 enables simultaneous shooting of 6-megapixel still images and 640 x 480-pixel video clips with a simple press of the shutter button during the shooting of a movie clip. Users will never need to miss another precious photo opportunity. (Depending on the mode used to take still images, simultaneous video clip shooting may be interrupted. While shooting video clips, using the digital image stabilizer may change the angle of view for still images.)

Built-In Image Stabilization
The SANYO Xacti CA6 comes with a sophisticated image stabilizer. Using a proprietary SANYO algorithm, the CA6 automatically compensates for distracting up-and-down or side-to-side camera movement, keeping your subject steady and easy to follow. It accurately distinguishes between unintentional camera shake and deliberate camera movement. This handy feature operates in both wide-angle and telephoto modes, giving every shot a solid, professional-looking feel.

5x Optical Zoom Lens
The CA6 digital media camera features a highly efficient 5x optical zoom with a bright maximum aperture of f/3.5. Consisting of xx groups and xx total lenses, the CA6???‚?„?s lens provides a fantastic field-of-view with a 38-190 mm range (35 mm equivalent). Combined with the 12x digital zoom, the CA6 provides up to 60x zooming capability.

Super Fast Start-Up
The Xacti CA6 includes a high-capacity SANYO brand lithium-ion battery. The DBL-L20U is a High voltage 3.7V battery designed to work with the SANYO Xacti CA6 camera. High energy density design minimizes the battery size and weight, making it perfect for use in small portable cameras. The DBL-L20 is designed to resist memory accumulation so it provides a full charge every time.

Panasonic today introduced the LUMIX DMC-FZ50, the successor to the critically acclaimed DMC-FZ30, featuring 10.1 megapixels and Panasonic??’s revolutionary Intelligent ISO Control technology which compensates for subject movement to decrease image blurriness – an industry first.

The LUMIX DMC-FZ50 with MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) features a powerful 12x optical zoom (equivalent to 35 mm to 420 mm on a 35 mm film camera) f/2.8 LEICA DC lens. It also boasts a 10.1-megapixel high resolution CCD for its image sensor and Venus Engine III for the image processing LSI, making it possible to record an image at a maximum ISO 1600 high sensitivity setting at full resolution. Furthermore, by dramatically reducing noise levels, the DMC-FZ50 is able to capture 10.1-megapixel full resolution images even in high sensitivity recordings.

Panasonic is synonymous with clear, stable picture taking, and incorporates MEGA Optical Image Stabilization into all of its digital cameras. The worldwide debut of the revolutionary new Intelligent ISO Control (IIC) feature on Panasonic??’s LUMIX cameras signals the arrival of a new level of photographic excellence. IIC allows high sensitivity recording at full resolution (1250 ISO maximum) made possible by the advanced image processing LSI Venus Engine III. When set to the IIC, the Venus Engine III detects the subject’s movement and adjusts the ISO setting and shutter speed to best suit the movement and the light condition automatically. Panasonic’s intelligent image stabilizing system allows users to take clear, crisp images in just about any situation.

Among the enhancements from its predecessor, the DMC-FZ50 is equipped with a new Function Button which serves as a shortcut to quickly set frequently-used settings such as recording image size, light metering, AF area, white balance, and ISO sensitivity. A newly incorporated custom setting function memorizes the user’s frequent setting patterns so they can be instantly applied by simply selecting this function with the mode dial. The FZ50 also has a 2-inch LCD which flips out to 180 degrees, making it easier to view even when shooting from high or low angles.

The DMC-FZ50 is now compatible with TTL external flashes creating greater flexibility for shooting in a wider range of conditions. The long battery life will allow the user to shoot approximately 360 images on one charge* (CIPA), yet another way the FZ50 stakes its claim to a premium spot in the digital camera market.

The price of the Panasonic DMC-FZ50 will be about $649.95, it will begin shipping in September.
