Apple Has Announced iPhone 4S, Launching October 14th

Today Apple has announced the new iPhone 4S smartphone intended to replace the current iPhone 4 device, bringing new features and improved performance along with the new iOS 5 operating system and the new iCloud service. The iPhone 4S uses Apple’s dual-core A5 ARM-based processor, comes with an improved 8 megapixel camera with advanced optics capable of recording better still photos with high resolution and full 1080p HD resolution video. The new smartphone also introduces the new Siri feature, an intelligent assistant that helps you get things done by just asking it with your voice. iPhone 4S has the same beautifully thin glass and stainless steel design that millions of customers around the world love, while being completely redesigned on the inside. The display of the device remains the great Retina display that we know already from the iPhone 4, so no OLED update yer ot getting a 3D-capable screen, maybe this will come in time for iPhone 5 next year…

The iPhone 4S comes in either black or white and will be available in the US starting October 14th for a suggested retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model and $299 (US) for the 32GB model and $399 (US) for the new 64GB model (the prices are with a two year contract). iPhone 4S will be available initially only in the US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan and the UK, following to 22 more countries by the end of October including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. By the end of the year another 70 countries worldwide should also get the new updated iPhone 4S smartphone..
